Hankering for Some Tasty New Recipes? D23 Recommends These Delicacies!
In the winter issue of
Disney twenty-three, Disney Archivist Becky Cline paid a friendly visit to the Tam O'Shanter restaurant in Los Feliz, just a few miles from the Walt Disney Studio Lot in Burbank (tough job but someone had to do it!). As you'll read in the issue, this legendary eatery was a hangout for Walt and many of his animators, who found the fairy tale setting, cozy interior and top-notch cuisine almost as irresistible as drawing characters with their favorite drawing pencils. Anyone who has ever whiled away a few hours in these cozy confines knows that the Tam's signature dish is the prime rib. Enjoy the recipe for this scrumptious culinary masterpiece which is as delightfully of another era as the Tam itelf.
