The Story and Songs of the Orange Bird – Music and Lyrics by Richard M. Sherman and Robert B. Sherman

To help tell the story of the new Orange Bird, the Sherman Brothers were asked to write six songs for a story album all about the character. It was a story about a little bird that couldn’t sing or talk, but instead thought in the form of orange puffs of smoke. In the end, this unique characteristic allowed him to save the day.
