D23′s Disney Fanniversary Celebration events have proven extremely popular with our members across the country. Our initial spring tour saw every one of the six-city stops completely sold-out. In order to ensure that even more D23 Members get to experience all the fun of D23′s Disney Fanniversary Celebration we’re happy to announce that additional tour cities have been added.
This September our Fanniversary Celebration will visit Seattle and Philadelphia. The tour will continue in October with stops in Atlanta and Dallas/Fort Worth.
D23′s Disney Fanniversary Celebration Details
From beloved movies like Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Aladdin, and Newsies; and classic characters like Goofy and Daisy Duck; to favorite attractions and entertainment spectaculars at Disney parks, such as Pirates of the Caribbean, Star Tours, and Fantasmic!… plus entire Disney parks like Epcot and Disneyland Paris—D23 will lead guests on a journey through dozens of unforgettable Disney moments that have delighted generations of Disney fans.
Each show will be hosted by a Disney archivist and D23 team member and will highlight the rich behind-the-scenes stories of these magical moments through rarely (or never-before) seen film footage, concept art, photography, and exclusive interviews with many of your favorite Disney Legends and luminaries.

D23′s Disney Fanniversary Celebration Sneak Peek
D23 embarked on a painstaking process to place the sketches of this 85-year-old cartoon in order and create a basic animating effect. Watch Oswald the Lucky Rabbit struggle to ride a rascally camel in Harem Scarem. The sketches and rough animation debuted at the D23 Fanniversary Celebration in Los Angeles on April 27, 2012. D23 and the Walt Disney Archives have taken Harem Scarem and more rarely seen Disney Archives footage on the road and across the country with this D23 Member event. The D23 Fanniversary Celebration lets fans relive dozens of unforgettable Disney moments celebrating a milestone anniversary in 2012.
NOTE: Available only to D23 Members in good standing. Members may reserve a ticket for themselves and one (1) guest. The gift will be given only to D23 Members (if a Member brings another Member as a guest, they both only need to show their membership card and photo ID to receive the gift). There are a limited number of tickets available. D23 Members will be required to provide their membership number when reserving tickets. Tickets may be picked up only with a valid photo ID AND D23 MEMBERSHIP CARD. D23 Members who do not bring their membership card may not be admitted to the event. General admission tickets will be available only if additional seats remain. Ticketed Members who do not attend the event forfeit their place as well as all experiences, benefits, and gifts associated with the event. If you wish to request sign language interpreting services for this event, please submit your request to GuestRelations@D23.com at least two weeks prior to the event date. All D23 Special Events are subject to change without notice. There are no cancellations or refunds, and tickets are not transferable.
