D23 Members and their guests are invited to meet and greet the Imagineers who led the development of New Fantasyland, the largest expansion in Magic Kingdom history. Enjoy an interactive day with the Imagineers as they display, reveal, and reflect upon the creation of New Fantasyland. Explore artwork and models, shop at Mickey’s of Glendale, and receive a free gift from the Project Team.
Activities include:
—Release of exclusive WDI pins and WDI apparel
—Pin Trading with MOG*
—Opportunity drawings
Meet and greet Imagineers from the New Fantasyland project team, including:
—Chris Beatty – Executive Creative Director
—Jon Georges – Executive Producer
—Chris Kelly – Show Producer
—Ted Robledo – Creative Director
—Ray Cadd – Concept Designer
Entry is available through the security gate in the 1401 Flower visitor parking lot.
*Pin Trading: D23 Members and their respective guests are encouraged to bring their own pins to trade with each other and with Mickey’s of Glendale team members outside in the beautiful WDI campus green space. Proper pin trading etiquette and guidelines must be followed.
NOTE: Available only to D23 Members in good standing. Members plus one (1) guest may gain entry with a valid photo ID AND D23 MEMBERSHIP CARD. D23 Members who do not bring their membership card may not be admitted to the event. Entry is on a first-come, first-served basis. All D23 Special Events are subject to change without notice. Due to the proprietary nature of our work, cameras are not allowed at Walt Disney Imagineering.
