Academy Award®-nominated director-writer Peter Hedges (Dan in Real Life, What’s Eating Gilbert Grape) brings enchantment to the screen with The Odd Life of Timothy Green. It’s the inspiring, magical story of a happily married couple, Cindy and Jim Green (Jennifer Garner and Joel Edgerton), who can’t wait to start a family but can only dream about what their child would be like. When young Timothy (CJ Adams) shows up on their doorstep one stormy night, Cindy and Jim—and their small town—learn that sometimes the unexpected can bring some of life’s greatest gifts.
A limited number of D23 Members are invited to join the stars at this premiere event in the historic El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood. Popcorn and soda are included with your exclusive experience—along with some special surprises. Get ready to see how an “odd life” can be a beautiful thing with your friends from D23.
Disney presents The Odd Life of Timothy Green, produced by Ahmet Zappa, Scott Sanders, and Jim Whitaker; story by Ahmet Zappa; and screenplay by Peter Hedges. The Odd Life of Timothy Green is slated for release on August 15, 2012.
NOTE: Available only to D23 Members in good standing. Members may reserve a ticket for themselves and one (1) guest. There are a limited number of tickets available. There will be a camera check before entering the theater. Guests will be able to pick up their cameras following the screening. Parking is not included, but the El Capitan Theatre offers validation for a limited number of hours at the Hollywood & Highland parking structure across the street. Tickets may be picked up only with a valid photo ID AND D23 MEMBERSHIP CARD. D23 Members who do not bring their membership card may not be admitted to the event. Ticketed Members who do not attend the event forfeit their place as well as all experiences, benefits, and gifts associated with the event.
