A Beloved Holiday Classic

D23 is proud to present the final film in our 50 and Fabulous screening series for 2011 on the historic Walt Disney Studio Lot. The Disney classic Babes in Toyland will be screened inside the state-of-the-art, 400-seat Studio Theatre.

So much excitement in Toyland! Tom and Mary are just about to be married in Mother Goose Village when the evil Barnaby—knowing Mary will inherit a large sum of money once she marries—intercedes, trying to dispose of Tom while marrying Mary himself. The Forest of No Return, an incredible gun that shrinks its targets and of course many beloved songs all make up parts of this magical adventure.

Starring Ray Bolger, Annette Funicello, Ed Wynn, Tommy Sands, Ann Jillian, Tommy Kirk ,and Kevin Corcoran, Babes in Toyland, originally released December 14, 1961, has become a holiday favorite.

The event will also feature a limited selection of D23 merchandise and a special gift just for each D23 Member who attends, as well as the opportunity to mix and mingle with your fellow D23 Members on the Studio Lot!

NOTE: Available only to D23 Members in good standing. Members may reserve a ticket for themselves and one (1) guest. The gift will be given only to D23 Members (if a member brings another member as a guest, they both only need to show their membership card and photo ID to receive the gift). There are a limited number of tickets available. D23 Members will be required to provide their membership number when reserving tickets. Tickets may be picked up only with a valid photo ID AND D23 MEMBERSHIP CARD. D23 Members who do not bring their membership card may not be admitted to the event. Ticketed Members who do not attend the event forfeit their place as well as all experiences, benefits, and gifts associated with the event. All D23 Special Events are subject to change without notice. There are no cancelations or refunds, and tickets are not transferrable.
