D23 Presents Disney Geek: From Page to Stage
In this special New York edition of D23 Presents Disney Geek, Billy meets up with Disney Publishing’s editorial director Wendy Lefkon for a sneak peek at some releases from Disney Publishing, including A Disney Sketchbook and a book still in the works highlighting Marty Sklar’s memoirs, called Dream It! Do It! Then, it’s over to Broadway’s Brooks Atkinson Theatre to see how the book Peter and the Starcatchers was brought to life on stage, inspiring the creation of the Tony Award-winning play Peter and the Starcatcher—with one “s” in Starcatcher! At the theater, show cast members recall some of their favorite moments onstage and show Billy how to re-create those moments with things around the house. Anybody got a rubber glove?
