D23: The Official Disney Fan Club salutes the marvelous creative legacy left by Walt Disney and the company that bears his name with D23 Presents Treasures of the Walt Disney Archives at The Reagan Library. The largest exhibit ever curated by the Walt Disney Archives, D23 Presents Treasures of the Walt Disney Archives at The Reagan Library features a treasure trove of more than 500 crown jewels, including original artifacts, props, costumes, models and the artwork of artists, architects, animators, and designers who have, for nearly nine decades, contributed to Disney’s timeless legacy. The exhibit also pays tribute to the long personal friendship and professional collaboration between Walt Disney and Ronald Reagan. The exhibit is open from July 6, 2012 through April 30, 2013.
