D23 Presents Armchair Archivist: The Magic of Models and Miniatures!
Join hosts Melody and Josh as they meet with Walt Disney Archives Director Becky Cline and Collections Archivist Rick Lorentz to explore the new exhibit, The Magic of Models and Miniatures, on The Walt Disney Studios Lot. This all-new Archives display highlights the many small-scale treasures that are part of your favorite Disney films, television episodes, and theme park experiences, including the sculpts of World of Motion Audio-Animatronics® (from Epcot), the flying Model-T from The Absent-Minded Professor, Captain EO’s spaceship, and models from Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland. With so many iconic treasures from Disney’s storied past, this episode is sure to rekindle all kinds of mini memories! Armchair Archivist will take a short break and will return with all new episodes in July!
